My name is Michael Sirois.  I've done many things in my life so far (see my bio), and hope to do many more.  Of course, we all wear multiple simultaneous hats, don't we?  For the time being I've donned the chapeaux of husband, chore-completer, retiree, part-time caregiver, and writer.

About this Website

I've had this website for a number of years, and up until now it was just a general repository for things that interested me. From this point forward (April 2012), I intend for it to be primarily about the art and craft of writing, my writing specifically. Is that self-serving? Yes, and I wouldn't have it any other way!   (8^)

About Writing contains links to notes and thoughts about the process of writing. I'm not sure yet how this section of the site will develop, but some of the thoughts will be mine and some of them will be from other writers.

Current Writing is about the novels I'm working on at the moment (one is almost finished, I've completed a first draft of another, and a third is partly underway).

Other Writing contains some snippets of past work.

Future Projects has some notes about writing projects I'm thinking about or researching.

Other Stuff has to do with other things I'm interested in. Some are related to writing, and some aren't. Take a look and see what's there.

And Contact is not about an amazing Jodi Foster film.    (8^)
