Michael's Trip to Attend the AERA Meeting, 2005
Nine Days, Fom Houston to Martha's Vineyard, and then Montreal
Then Back to Houston
April 8th to April 16th, 2005
For the sixth time, our Reflective Portfolio Group was accepted to present the story of our work in educational reform at the AERA Annual Meeting. There were no direct flights from Houston to Montreal, so I decided to fly to Boston a few days early, and go to Martha's Vineyard first to do some work getting my mom's house ready for sale.
After a few days, I headed back to Boston and took an Air Canada flight to Montreal. I managed to make some time at both places to take some pictures. Click on the thumbnails below to see them.

The last day of the conference, we presented, then Gayle Curtis and I spent part of the day at the site of the 1967 Olympics, then I took another long walk to the St. Lawrence River to take some more pictures. The following morning I flew back to Houston. |
