Michael's Trip to Attend the AERA Meeting, 2003, Ten Days
Flying From Houston to Chicago, and then Driving to Urbana-Champaign
Before Driving Back to Chicago to Catch a Plane Home to Houston
April 23rd to May 2nd, 2003
For the fourth time, our Reflective Portfolio Group was accepted to present the story of our work in educational reform at the AERA Annual Meeting. I also had to attend an EOT-PACI All-Hands Meeting at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign a few days later. Pictures on this trip were taken with a Nikon Coolpix E990, edited and reduced in Photoshop. The Web album was created in Photoshop as well. Click on the thumbnails below to see pictures from both cities.

Saw some more sights. Rented a car after the AERA meeting, drove out to Oak Park, and saw Frank Lloyd Wright's neighborhood. Then drove down to Urbana-Champaign. Saw a 10th anniversary presentation for Mosaic, the original graphical web browser, and attended a meeting for the educational alliance, EOT-PACI. Drove the car back to Chicago O'Hare and then flew back to Houston.
