Michael's Trip to Martha's Vineyard (for a few days)
Before Heading to Boston to Help Scale the TeacherTECH Program at Boston University

July 23rd to August 3rd, 2001

Rice University's successful TeacherTECH technology training program for teachers had already been established at Rice Universtiy, and versions had been opened at San Diego and Washington, DC.. I was asked to help get another version going in Boston.  I left a few days early, and hopped a little nine-seater down to the island to see my mom.  Pictures on this trip were taken with a Casio 2000UV-X, edited and reduced in Photoshop.  The Web album was created in Photoshop as well.  Click on the thumbnails below to see pictures from the island, Boston, and the workshop, plus some views from a few airplanes.

Flew by Continental Airlines to Boston Logan, then down to Martha's Vineyard, then back to Boston where we worked and played for a few days getting ready for the TeacherTECH workshop to begin.

We conducted a one-week version of the workshop (ours is normally two weeks ), but it was very successful. And then, home to Houston we went.
