| Trip to Martha's Vineyard --
Summer 2003 -- Index Page 7/11/2003 to 7/21/2003 |
Minay and I went
to the Vineyard once again, to see my mom. We would normally take
a month and drive across country, but I had retired from the Houston Independent
School District after 23 years, and had just been officially hired by Rice
University. I'm now a year-round employee, no more two-and-a-half
month summers. I had just finished conducting a computer science
camp for high school girls at Rice, and could only afford to take ten days
or so this time, so we flew to the island, but still took lots of pictures
while we were there.
